Who we are
MC Pro Services Ltd is the data controller for business-enquiry information sent to us. We are based in Northampton, United Kingdom. You can contact us at info@mcpro-services.co.uk.
Information we receive
If you contact us, we may receive your name, company, job title, contact details, project location, project documents and anything else you include in your message. If you enquire about work or subcontracting, we may also receive your work history, references, availability and a list of qualifications. If an engagement or project proceeds, we may process contract, right-to-work, identity, site-access, competency, insurance, tax, payment and project-delivery records where relevant.
How and why we use it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, understand and price possible work, take steps before entering a contract, administer contracts, coordinate site delivery, keep appropriate business records and meet legal obligations. The lawful basis will normally be steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligation or our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business.
We rely on your consent for optional Google Analytics. You can refuse or withdraw that consent without affecting access to the website or our services.
Website form and project assistant
When the “Send project enquiry” option is available, submitting it sends your contact and project details to MC Pro Services. We keep a temporary enquiry record on our website hosting service, Cloudflare, and use Resend to notify our company inbox. A successful submission displays a reference on this page. This confirms that the website has received the enquiry; it does not confirm that the project or any work has been accepted.
The “Prepare email” and “Prepare WhatsApp” options, and the guided project assistant, prepare a message on your device instead. These options do not submit the answers to our website: we receive them only when you press Send in your email or WhatsApp app. Please do not include sensitive personal information in any initial enquiry.
For direct online submissions, we use a temporary, one-way code derived from your IP address to limit spam. We do not store your full IP address with the enquiry or send the contents of your enquiry to Google Analytics. Temporary website enquiry copies are marked for removal after 30 days and cleared during subsequent form activity; information received in our company inbox follows the business-retention policy below. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Resend’s privacy policy for information about these service providers.
Careers and workforce checks
We ask applicants not to send passports, National Insurance numbers, bank details or full identity documents in an initial email. If an engagement progresses, necessary evidence is requested through the agreed onboarding route and used to assess identity, right to work, competence, references, contractual status and project-specific access. Criminal-record or other background information is requested only where lawful, proportionate and relevant to the role or site. See our responsible-business and workforce-checking commitments.
Self-hosted background film
The home-page corridor and city film is delivered from this website and does not connect your browser to a third-party video platform. It is decorative and does not collect your project information.
Interactive coverage map
The OpenStreetMap coverage map is not loaded until you select “Load interactive map”. If you load it, your browser connects directly to OpenStreetMap and technical information such as your IP address may be received under the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
Optional website analytics
If you accept optional analytics, Google Analytics may process page views, approximate location, browser and device information, referral source and selected contact interactions. We use this information to understand site performance and improve useful content. We do not send the contents of your enquiry or project-assistant answers to analytics.
Google Analytics remains blocked until acceptance. Advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalisation and Google signals are disabled. You can withdraw consent through “Cookie settings” in the footer. See our cookie notice for more detail.
External communication and social services
When you follow a link to WhatsApp or another external platform, that service may collect information about your visit and handle anything you send under its own terms and privacy notice. You should review the relevant service before sending sensitive or confidential project information.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Where necessary, information may be shared with professional advisers, IT and email providers, insurers, clients, principal contractors, project partners or authorities. We only share what is reasonably needed for the relevant purpose.
Retention
Enquiries that do not become projects are normally reviewed and deleted when no longer useful, generally within 24 months. Contract, accounting, insurance, safety and project records may be retained for longer where required by law, contractual requirements or the need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
International processing and security
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we expect appropriate legal safeguards to be used. We take reasonable organisational and technical steps to protect the information we hold, although no internet or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. Contact us at info@mcpro-services.co.uk to exercise a right.
Data-protection complaints
Email info@mcpro-services.co.uk with “Data protection complaint” in the subject line. We will acknowledge the complaint within 30 days, investigate it and keep you informed of the outcome. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies and analytics
Optional Google Analytics is used only after consent. See our cookie notice for the current controls and technologies.
