Clear standards, applied in proportion to the work.

MC Pro Services is committed to acting ethically and with integrity. Checks are matched to the role, employment or subcontract arrangement, client and building rather than used as blanket marketing claims. Any concern about exploitation, false evidence, improper payment or unsafe conduct is stopped and escalated.

Our commitments

Simple controls for people, partners and projects.

These commitments support responsible mobilisation in hotels, social housing and other occupied buildings. Engagement status follows the actual working arrangement; a subcontractor label does not remove statutory rights or MC Pro’s applicable duties.

Modern slavery & fair work

We have zero tolerance for forced labour, human trafficking, coercion or worker exploitation in our business and supply chain. We do not charge recruitment fees or retain passports, and we expect employees, operatives, subcontractors and suppliers to uphold the same standard.

People & contractor checks

For employed roles, the applicable right-to-work check is completed before work starts, using the official GOV.UK share code and date of birth route where relevant. Operative and subcontractor checks are proportionate to the engagement and may cover identity, references, CSCS, NVQ, training, insurance, CIS information and employment status.

Honest & secure business

Bribes, false records and deliberate misrepresentation are not accepted. Unexpected payment or bank-detail changes are independently verified through a known contact route, and important business accounts use strong access controls and two-step verification where available.

Before mobilisation

Evidence is checked for the actual engagement.

  • Confirm the role, actual engagement basis, written scope, responsible supervisor and sites involved.
  • Verify relevant identity, right-to-work, competence and business evidence.
  • Apply client, induction, safeguarding and site-access requirements. Provide required PPE free where MC Pro has that legal duty, and support reporting of unsafe work without retaliation.
  • Use DBS or other background checks only where lawful, proportionate and required; higher-level DBS checks are requested only for eligible roles.
Official guidance

Current rules are checked at the point of decision.

This overview is supported by official UK guidance. The correct route can depend on the person, role and contractual arrangement.

How we handle personal information

The Modern Slavery Act Section 54 annual-statement duty applies to qualifying commercial organisations with annual turnover of £36 million or more. MC Pro Services publishes this commitment voluntarily. It is a high-level public summary, not legal advice, a certification or a claim that every operative holds the same clearance.
