Controlled delivery

Quality assurance from approved scope to close-out.

A practical, door-by-door route for fire-door installation, replacement and supported remedial programmes.

MC / QA

Quality is planned, checked and evidenced.

MC Pro Services works to the client’s approved project information, applicable manufacturer instructions and agreed quality plan. Checks are proportionate to the package and remain connected to the correct doorset, location and action.

Six-stage control

A repeatable assurance route for every programme.

The exact inspection and test plan is agreed for the project. This structure keeps technical decisions, workmanship and records aligned.

01

Pre-start review

Door schedules, approved details, manufacturer instructions, responsibilities, access and the reporting route are reviewed before work begins.

02

Product and location control

Doorsets, components and available product information are checked against the agreed schedule and linked to the correct opening.

03

First-off and in-process checks

Initial work and repeat installation stages are checked against the project quality plan so issues are corrected before they become programme-wide.

04

Door-by-door evidence

Location references and photographs at agreed critical stages record the work, including fire-critical details before they are concealed.

05

Snags and exceptions

Defects, access failures, incompatible details and unsupported instructions are recorded and escalated rather than hidden or improvised.

06

Close-out

Completed actions, outstanding matters and the agreed handover information are assembled through the client’s reporting route.

Project evidence

Records that support review and handover.

Evidence requirements are confirmed before mobilisation and can be delivered through the client’s chosen platform, including OneTrace, Bolster or Boris where specified.

  • Door, opening, floor or location reference
  • Before, installation-stage and completed photographs at agreed inspection points
  • Product details, approved instructions and scheduled components supplied to the project route
  • Operational checks, snag status, variations and close-out notes

MC Pro Services’ quality checks are contractor delivery controls. They do not replace the Responsible Person, designer, building-control body, fire-risk assessor or any independent inspection and certification required by the project.

Associated carpentry

Complete systems and visible checks.

Stud partitions and plasterboarding are agreed as a defined package. Where fire or acoustic performance is required, the approved assembly governs framing, board layers, fixings, joints, insulation and perimeter details. A board description alone does not establish the performance of a wall.

Scope and change

Technical decisions have a named owner.

Design, supply, installation, inspection and handover responsibilities are agreed before work starts. Missing or incompatible information is referred to the appointed competent designer or project team. Changes require approval before installation; MC Pro remains responsible for its agreed work and applicable duties.
