Fire-door delivery for social housing

Social Housing Fire Doors & Composite Replacement

Composite and timber flat-entrance doors, communal doors and risers planned around residents, phased access and location-based records.

Project environmentSocial housing

Delivery planned around the building in use.

Composite flat-entrance and communal fire-door works in occupied housing require careful resident interfaces, dependable appointments and evidence that stays tied to the correct property and door. Our teams work through defined schedules while keeping access constraints, outstanding actions and completed work visible to the client team.

Programme priorities

  • Resident-aware working practices
  • Location-based records and photographs
  • No-access and revisit coordination
  • Safe, tidy handback of communal areas

How MC Pro supports the project

We install client-supplied, project-specified composite and timber doorsets, then deliver supported remedials through the client’s competent inspection, design and certification route. MC Pro Services does not provide independent inspections or certify its own completed work.

Our Northampton-based teams provide fire-door installation and replacement and specified remedial works. For a nearby building, review our Northampton fire-door services and send the door schedule, access requirements and target dates.

Before we quote

Prepare a flat-entrance or communal-door package

A clear property and door schedule helps us assess the installation work, resident access and any planned remedial items together.

  • Site postcodes, quantities and door references, distinguishing flat entrances, communal doors and risers.
  • Approved doorset details, the inspection or remedial schedule, material supply responsibilities and required completion records.
  • Resident appointment arrangements, access contacts, working hours, safeguarding requirements and the target programme.

Send schedules and supporting photographs by email or WhatsApp, or start with our project enquiry form. Please omit resident, guest and other sensitive personal information.

Common project questions

Can you install client-supplied composite flat-entrance doors?

Yes. We review the project-specified doorsets, opening information, manufacturer instructions and installation requirements before confirming the package. The client or principal contractor's approved supply, inspection and certification arrangements remain part of that review.

How are missed resident appointments handled?

We agree who books appointments, how access is confirmed and how no-access doors are reported before mobilisation. Revisits and their programme or cost implications are agreed with the client rather than assumed to be included.

Can replacements and remedials be quoted separately?

Yes. Identify each door and the required action in the schedule so installation, replacement and supported remedial items can be reviewed separately. Unclear repair details or unsuitable existing conditions are raised for instruction before the scope is agreed.
